See how simply you can make whole building energy analysis a normal part of your architectural practice and use energy results on your schematic designs during your earliest charette. Also, see how to use GBS to share data with your engineers and discuss a case study of a firms use of GBS. The Green Building Studio provides early stage energy analysis using DOE-2 and EnergyPlus while identifying appropriate product information to building design teams. Users of Autodesk's and Graphisoft's 3D-CAD and BIM tools can use the Green Building Studio at no charge. This seminar will be led by John F. Kennedy, PE, President and CTO of GeoPraxis. Funding for this seminar is provided by SMUD and R&D for the Green Building Studio was provided by Pacific Gas & Electric Company and the California Energy Commission's Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) program.
