Schedule Fields/Formula to Combine Text

Is it possible to create a schedule field/parameter or formula to combine two text fields? For instance Room Name & Room Number. I was hoping I could combine these two text fields into one. Example; "Family Room A101"

I have, three different times in different years, put this on the Wish List, but it has never gotten enough votesfrom others to get anywhere. What you are looking for are String Concantanation functions.
