Can't open Revit 2011 today

Hi - I've been working every day in Revit 2011 and today I can't open the program. I have tried restarting computer and uninstalling / reinstalling the software. No luck. I just get the initial image, then it goes away and nothing. Ideas?

Hard to be sure what is wrong but if it was working very recently OK then I'd have a look at System Restore - in Windows 7 you can look down a list of recent changes, not sure about earlier Windows versions.

I only know this because my PC locked up after the last MS security update and I got things back to normal by doing a Restore.

Delete the WSCommCntrData.xml file.
c:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010\ENU\Components\WebServices\WSCommCntrData.xml
