Hi everybody,

I'm trying to colour my different section to get different colours in 3D view. So e.g. a HE300A is yellow, and another section a different colour.

I've alredy tried it out, but it dosen't seem to work? (see attachment).

Why is that?!

Did you switch on the “Section – legend by colors” option?

@ andersejsing
Also when you define sections, you can define desired color for every section, or leave it automatic,
Also you can modify sections to change colors,
But keep in mind that color of cross section is not taken into account during calculations, hahah

Kindly Regards

Andersejsing,
When you switch on “Sections – legend by colors” there should be a legend displayed by default in lower-right corner of graphical viewer showing how color corresponds to section.
Can you see this?
If yes please attach picture showing both model with profiles and legend.
Please note that switching on "Materials - legend by colors" and/or "Groups - legend by colors" may affect sections color display
