horizontal field of view

My horizontal field of view keeps changing throught the day always getting a wider angle.

How about a way to lock it down so it doesn't change?

Yes, I know that I can change my "horizontal field of view" setting, but the first time that I click a viewpoint (that has jacked settings) it over rides the setting with whatever is in the viewpoint.

We need a "override" to keep it at 45deg or whatever personal preference is.

I agree - I would really like to be able to lock the field of view angle - across the model, all views.

It would be nice is that was a users or computer setting and not something that followed viewports or even .nwd files themselves.

There are a few settings that should be more user/computer specific, such as when you open a model and the select arrow is active when it should be the walk icon.

Rules are kind of on the unruly side as well. Those are computer specific and I think they would be better off being model specific.
