Can you post an example of what you want?

I work with an architecture firm that has a division dedicated to PIM development (Product Information Modeling) They create custom parametric families for a variety of manufacturers, and I think I just saw them working on some cabinetry. If you want more info, just PM me.

Yes WS I have looked at that site and the all in one kitchen is very similar to what Im looking for I just want to be sure that Im getting the things that I want before I spend the money. If I had it my way I would create the family myself, but my boss thinks it will be more cost effective to have it created for us, for a couple hundred bucks instead of using company time that could have been billed to a project, and therein lies the problem I don't want to pay for something that turns out to be useless especially if I know I could have done better myself.

Try to do it yourself, and explain that the time spent will pay for itself in the benfit of the family on this project and future ones, not to mention the fact that you will be improving your Revit skills and could easily take on future tasks which is good business sense.

If you use the "just hurry up" approach and buy the content, you have risk as you mention,
and you lose the experience in creating the content, which is one of the most powerful skills any Revit user can have.
