Grid lines for structural layout

Does anybody know how to attach grid lines to the walls,floor,roof etc..?

Grids are automatically shown per views.

You would be better off attaching elements to grids, rather than grids to elements...

Just align the wall elements to your grid and lock. The floor and roof should be drawn using the pick wall tool and they will follow the walls in turn.
