Hi all,
I've linked in my structural engineer's model. I want to copy / monitor his floor objects that represent concrete column drops. Sounds easy enough.
Under Copy / Monitor options, I've set all of his floor families to be either "Copy Original Type."
So far so good. Here's where things get hairy....
So let's say he's got many floor objects titled "DROP 11" (these represent 11" drops).
Let's say I copy monitor a dozen of these objects, of the same type. The first one comes in fine... "DROP 11".
Every successive one comes in as a brand new type:
"DROP 11 1"
"DROP 11 2"
"DROP 11 3"
"DROP 11 4"
so on and so forth.
This doesn't appear to be correct behavior. Has anyone else encountered anything similar?
