This has been bugging me for a while, I'm pretty sure that something is wrong.
I have a suspicion it's a Revit bug, but I'm hoping you guys can help sort me out.
I've noticed that beams automatically cut themselves back when they detect a "join" between another member (parallel, perpendicular and any angle in between).
Some of the time, this is desirable as it cuts them a reasonable distance from columns,
However, I don't always want it to trim, where welding might happen and such.
The only way to fix this seems to be to override the "Construction: Start Extension" and "Construction: End Extension".
I don't know, it just doesn't seem right. Is there a way I can control this default value?
thanks.
