Help! Subregions

Hi, I'm trying to draw a parking lot and grass for my site plan. But when I click on the "Massing & Site" tab the "Building Pad", "Split Surface", "Subregion", etc. are all disabled. Any ideas why I can't use them?

Is that because you still don't have a topography yet?
Once there is a topography, those tools should become live.

That's exactly right. Gotta have a toposurface in place before the other tools (which modify toposurfaces) are available for use.
