Hi. I'm wanting to get a symbol for insertion into a section that shows daylight recession planes and the ground level on the topo at the section line. I know that I can't snap onto the topo so I have made a generic annotation family that shows the planes etc that I can place approximately in the section, but I seem unable to have it update the level automatically. In this screen grab I have placed the generic annotation symbol in the project, but had to place a spot elevation marker separately. Is there any way to get the level into the family so I don't have to do a 2 step process? I initially tried starting with a level marker family and changing it to a generic annotation in the family category and parameters but the "elevation" paramenter does not update in the project. Any help woyld be really appreciated.
