Hi,

I wanted to share this family (2011) with you guys. It's a grid that is vissible in from any view you look at.

It's made from a column template. It first used to be a structural column but decided to switch it to architectural since most people stop using those. And I didn't want to interfere with structural schedules.

screenshot:
1 section under an angle
2 section view
3 selected column in plan view and section view
4 properties of the family

It has two types in it. One of the types shows also in floor plans where the grid line is with a circle and a cross. The other type has it turned of.

You might want to rename the family. Stramien is dutch for grid. You might want to change the object style and for the bigger scales maybe a denser pattern.

I use them myself for simple tunnel constructions where the tunnel gets crossed by a non perpendicular road. When I create section in this model I get to see gridlines where the regular gridlines won't show up.

please let me know what you think.
