I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction....
I work for a small steel fabrication/detailing company and we are currently using the basic 2D functionality of AutoCAD 2008/2009 to create our steel detail drawings. I was wondering what is the best way of automating the process of creating member schedules, take-offs, and cutting lists...etc?
I would imagine that it would be though the use of blocks, attributes, data extraction and/or data linking? Or are there other AutoCAD functions that I haven't thought of?
Thank you in advance for your input,
Peter.
