door parameters

Hi, I am working on an remodel of an existing house (2011) and the doors that are placed, I am unable to edit the identity data of them. Is there a way to make it editable? when i go to the family editor the identity data I am only able to add. any help would be appreciated.

Just created a new door and changed it to existing so my schedule works now, but if anyboby knows how to change those parameters I would still be interested.

Can you be more specific on the information you need to edit and/or add to the door family?

Sounds like a Phasing issue...........

Check the Help on Phasing and Schedules, Parameters, View Settings for Phases, etc.

Well when I go to the family editor none of the parameters in the "identity data" area are editiable when you go to edit the parameter. for example if you want to make it a "type" or "instance" parameter. see the attached .png.

Ahh, those parameters are hardcoded, which basically means that you can't edit them. They will always stay that way.
