I have an oddball opening (in center between windows) that doesn't display correctly in elevation, yet plan & section don't show where my problem lies. There's an intersection of two walls behind with doors, but I have this big grey blotch that has a shadow from opening. Ideas?

Iso view shows all is well. Problem is only with elevation & I've checked all the VG issues but nada.

If you are using a wall opening, try it with a void opening instead of the regular opening profile.
Normal openings have some issues in elevations.

The last thing I would have tried, but it worked - go figure!
Lose the OPENING & create the VOID.

Yes--
Openings are not my favorite tool.
The void does seem to work a bit better.
A couple of other suggestions:
1. Edit the wall Profile
2. Use my patented "frameless window family"
Open a normal window family ( arched/round, whatever) and save-as.
Delete the glazing and trim extrusions--leaving just the opening cut.
Insert into wall. Change sizes on the fly. Schedule if you want.

I'll try your patented window process, Cliff - as long as I don't have to pay any royalties.
BTW - I've just posted a render of the building elevation at the Gallery section.
