Hello all:
This is a relatively simple problem that has a complex description, so I'll try my best to simplify it.
I have a scene that is 900 frames long. I am using a daylight system to illuminate it. I have 20 computers on my network that have backburner on it that I use for renderings. In backburner monitor, when I distribute this scene to have it rendered, *some* of the computers throw and error looking for c:\documents and settings\%username%\local settings\temp\hemispherical_003_half_tiled(x).exr
the x in (x) can be any number from 1-9.
I have no idea why it is doing this. I don't know why it is making that file there. I don't know what is causing this behavior. I can find hemispherical_003_half_tiled.exr and I can change the name, but the illumination on that scene when rendered on a machine that does this doesn't come out like the rest of the computers on the network.
The most bizarre thing about this is that the problem is so random, I can't figure out or predict which computer it is going to do this on. I did a full rendering of all the frames last night and one of the computers, its frames came out fine. I made no changes to the model and re-rendered this morning, and now it is looking for that file. It is incredibly infuriating.
Help!
