Is there an easy way to reconnect things that have previously been demolished?
We have a design development model that is now being transitioned into a construction
document model for the first phase of a project. In DD, anything that is to be removed (in any phase) was demolished in the model. Now that we are using this as a model for only the first phase all this stuff needs to show up as existing to remain and connected to a system. However, since it was already demolished nothing is connected. I tried the "routing solutions" feature hoping it would re-do the connections that are already lined up perfectly, but it doesn't work. It tries to make a new routing rather than the obvious one where nothing needs to change. Is there a way to customize the routing solutions to get it to work in this situation? Or some other way to re-connect the ductwork and piping? Redrawing it would take a very long time.
