Does anyone have a process to show the parent number in a keynote legend? I am trying to get the keynote legend to match the attached image. Currently we use tags in a drafting view and generate a legend from that. It is really sloppy and I would like to try and use keynotes instead. I have searched the forum and haven't found anything promising. Thanks

The Keynotes are driven by a simple delimited text file.

As a quick test, locate your Default OTB Keynote text file, open it in notepad,
and save-as, giving it your name of choice.

By default in RAC 2011 it's located here:
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RAC 2011\Imperial Library\RevitKeynotes_Imperial_2004.txt

Then, edit it to look like you want--the only trick is you MUST follow the Tab and Spacing
for each row or column of text EXACTLY the same way as the original text file, or it will not work in Revit.

Once you edit it and have it saved, open Revit and under Keynote Settings specifiy the path to your new Keynote Text File.

Hope this helps.

amitchell,
You cannot do it.
At least in a automatic way.
But I would trade those parents keyotes by keynote modifiers.
