Hi all,
I am currently working on an extension project in revit which involves few phases in the scheme. Being relatively new to the software I am facing quite a few challenges with sorting out the phasing of the building pads.
1. Due to phasing I have to demolish existing building pads in the proposed phases and rebuild with a new building footprint design.
I duplicated the toposurface from the existing site plan, then changed its phase to new construction. The next step was to click on graded surface to create a new toposurface with the interior and perimter points the same as the existing toposurface. This way I can do changes to the sub regions in the proposed toposurface without disturbing the subregions in the existing toposurface. Also I noted that all the building pads get copied on to the New Construction Phase.
How do I get the building pads to retain their existing phasing and then do additions and demolition to the proposed building pad.
Any suggestions would help.
