unable to see component

I inserted structural lumber, specifically "laminated veneer lumber", which is supposed to be exposed. However, I cant see it in my elevation. I checked my visibility graphics to see if structure was check and it was... but I still cant see it in my elevation views. How do I make it show?

Not sure?? Check the extents of your view plane/depth. Maybe set your vis graphics to "coordination", make sure in your vis graphics you have structural beams checked on..
