Ive created a surface in maya that i paneled with adaptive curtain panels. Then i had to manually delete some panels and add in many more. I spend hours adding panels in individually.

Now, when import the family into my project it shows the panels that were automatically created by the surface grid, but it does not import the panels that i did manually.

However, I tried to import it into a new project and it worked.

I made sure all of the visibility settings were checked but it still doesn't show them.

If anyone has any idea what might be happening i would appreciate help.

UPDATE:

I tried to import the roof into a new project, which worked, and then tried to copy it and paste it into the actual project but it gave me a error. I think maybe the original file is corrupt or something.

Does anyone know what might be happening? Or is there a way to bring my model into a new project without losing all of my floorplans, sections, elevations, 3d views, ect?

What about importing the roof into a new project and then linking that into your current project. Now try selecting it and copy/paste or just bind the link into your project.
