Hi there, over the past 4 years I have created a 2D plant family which consisted of an inventory of different plants with various information pertaining to each different plant -ie size, botancal name, description, code (for demarking the innitials or number of each plant, etc. This has just been a 2D element consisting of a line drawing in the shape of a circle. The radius of this circle (line) would expand/contract to the diameter of the tree depending on what the size was stipulated.
This plant family has worked fine for me over the years and it has been valuable in producing planting schedules on my lanscape plans drawn in Revit.
That was until I tried loading the plant family into Revit 2010. (I opened the family and saved as Revit 2010). So I then loaded into my new 2010 project but the information under 'Other' was stuck on one particular plants info. When I went to select a new plant it would let me select it but the information was the same as the previous plants infomation. ie nothing would change. In the past this would not happen. Can anyone decipher this one for me? Both the type and instance information seems to be stuck on one plants details.
