Detail Component

I loaded this family in my drawing and tried to use it as a component to install in a section, however it does not appear in the component list to be installed.
How do you use this family?

You sure that wasn't Wood Truss End - Elevation.rfa? I don't think there is a Wood Truss End.rfa

Opps, yes your correct but I still don't understand how to use this family. It does not install as a component, does it?
