I have created an annotative multileader style using an annotative mtext style. It is working as expected, scaling per the viewport scale and looking fine. The problem is the mtext only has one grip, at the insertion point. Is there a way to make it show the "usual" grips for mtext, so that I can re-size the width of the text string?
Thanks for any help.

Only with 2010 or higher.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned I am using AutoCAD 2010 & Civil 3 2010. So, is there a way to fix this in 2010?

Do you currently have width assigned to it? If there isn't already a width, then you don't get the grips.

Thanks for the reply.
Sorry, I don't know what you mean by a "width assigned to it". I choose 2 corners of a rectangle when I invoked the mtext command, which implies a height & a width for the text, is that what you mean? I assume you don't mean the width factor...I'm confused. If it is missing a width, can I assign one?

Wow! I just went into the drawing with the offending mtext and was playing around with it. I saw the little arrows above the text in the mtext editor and there was the answer to my problem! Now I'm wondering how I made the text without a width to begin with, but glad to know how to fix it. Thanks for your help, Glenn, who knows how long I would have missed seeing those little arrows without your post.

By default there is no width assigned when the multileader is created.

It does get confusing with so many width options  Glad you found it.
