Linked Revit file levels and grids?

How would one recreate the levels and grids from a linked Revit file? I've tried copy/pasting them without success. It doesn't seem very intuitive to have to create them all from scratch and try to match what's in the linked file.

Use the Copy/Monitor under the Collaborate tab with your Revit file linked in instead of copy - paste.
