join gable roof with polygon 5 sides roof

Adding a 5 sides polygonal roof to an existing gable roof.
I can not join the two roofs and ridge of polygonal roof is inclined.
Please help me.

The geometry of the polygonal roof has to be organized better for this roof to work in real life. But if you still want to join it the way it is, do this: from a side view, move the polygonal roof out until its short ridge is not completely inside the main roof as it is now. Once this small ridge shows up outside, you can use the Join Roof tool, select that little ridge, then select the adjacent face of the main roof, and only then the roofs will join. However, the results will still have some issues.
