Is there a way to control the visibily of curved surfaces on a 3d part? I've attached an example of an angle with filleted ends. I don't mind seeing the contour lines (sorry, I don't know if that's the correct term) in the isometric view, but in the plan view I think it makes it a little more difficult to distinguish the main edges of the angle. I'm running ACAD2006.
Thanks

Hi, welcome to AUGI.

Try setting DISPSILH (DISPlay SILHouette) to 1.

I've already tried that variable and it does remove the tessellation lines between the start of the fillet and the end of the fillet, but not the line that actually defines the "start" and "end" of the fillet itself. Maybe I'm asking something that just can't be done.

Under Options, Display, try setting your "Contour Lines per Surface" to 0 and checking "Draw true silhouettes for solids and surfaces", then regen. This is for 2010 but I believe it was similar in 06.
