What is the best way to control visibility on nested links? I can put it on a workset and make it visible or not. and I can control all of the elements in the link at once. But how can i turn off the levels in a nested link while keeping the levels in the other link visible?

If your using Revit 2011 you can turn on/off worksets of a linked model on a view by view basis using Visibility Graphics. Or you can just change to custom for everything and turn off elements individually under model and annotation. (That works with other versions too if you don't have 2011)

yea, but I can't get to the nested link. Turning of levels turns them of in the link and the nested link.

I never use Nested Links, for those types of reasons. You cant demand load it, and you cant control it seperately from its parent link. I set them all to Overlay, and Link them all in natively.
