Windows 7 workstations using RAC 2011.
On one workstation, when a Revit session is started, the "mouse-over" highlight (purple by default) does NOT turn off when you are no longer hovering over the element. Thus, if you wash your mouse over the entire view, eventually everything will be highlighted purple. You have to do something like toggle Thin Lines on/off for the screen to refresh. Then it doesn't do it for the remainder of the Revit session.
On another workstation, the screen refresh doesn't solve the problem. Toggling Thin Lines does clear the highlight, but then subsequent mouse movement starts it all up again. The user can't tell what element they are selecting. You can't "tab through" potential elements, because the highlight for the previous element doesn't turn off.
