Has anyone discovered a "batt insulation" fill that could be applied as a cut pattern in a wall?

There are a number of possibilities :-

Use the Insulation Tool on the Drafting tab and draw in the insulation for a one off detail.
Import an Autocad Fil Pattern into Revit
Make you own Fill Pattern ( described in the Help file )

The problem with that, assuming you want to use the traditional 'squiggly line' for batt insulation, is that Revit fill patterns won't rotate with the wall orientation. The pattern will always be going in one direction so angled walls or walls perpendicular (or would that be parallel :???: ) to the fill direction won't display properly.
The other issue is pattern scale. It won't stretch to fill the stud cavity.
I think the pattern orientation thing is on the wish list
