REVIT 2011 Reinforement Errors

hey all,

ive been getting a problem recently when detailing reinforcement in concrete beams (rebar) and also area reinforcement in floors (more with floors)

an error msg pops up (view attachement)
i can easily continue without saving, and it doesnt pose a huge problem,but i get the issue where i cant edit the instance properties of the area reinforcement (major bar, minor bar etc.) i have to restart revit, and then it will allow me to change it in the properties box

the error box down in the corner usually says "erorr occured etc."
my floor already had reinforcement in, so its a slightly different error msg

any help?

i doubt its my machine as we are running high spec revit machines

First port of call is make sure you have the latest "build" of Revit.
Usually updating by installing the latest service packs will get rid of that sort of thing so I'd give that a go first up

I had the same error messages when "playing around" with the reinforcement tool before! Even with the latest build!
