I linked in Mode A. The user of model A linked model F into their model and set it to attachment in the manage links tab. Now when I link Model A in, I see Model A & F.
Without opening model A and making the correction, how do I turn off model F?
I hope thats not confusing. Consider it the bonus question.

Ask the user of Model A, to change the link to Model F from Attachment to Overlay - If he refuses, dip him in tar and roll him in feathers... and if you´re short on tar and feathers, just make the change in model A yourself

In the off-chance that the user placed Model F on its own workset in Model A, you can go to Manage Links, select Model A, click the Manage Worksets button at the bottom of the dialog box, and turn off the workset.
(the street signs are not the only thing confusing. have you tried apartment hunting?!)
