I am trying to delineate watersheds from a DEM file in Civil 3D 2011. I build the surface from the DEM with no problem, but the surface has around 1.5 M points in it, so it is really sluggish to work with. I have tried the simplify surface command, and removed 70% of the points in the surface, but I cannot get the watershed analysis to work without crashing my AutoCAD. Any hints?
