My new computer fried after having it for 2 weeks. I had to install a new motherboard, battery and power supply. Now when I try to start revit 2011 it is asking to activate it and when I try to activate it it says user limit reached. Does anyone know where the activation code it kept on the hard drive? I have searched for it and cannot find it.,

You probably won't be able to use the previous activation code. Revit looks for the MAC address of your motherboard and creates a unique activation code for that address. New motherboard, new auth code.
Generate a new request code and copy that into an e-mail along with your serial number and send it to Autodesk directly at authcodes@autodesk.com.
Explain your situation and they should be able to help you out.

Or when you try to reactivate....you can call Autodesk and they can help ya....
I used to do this quite often everytime I got a new computer in the LDD days...
