Default Text Leader Attachment Locations

Does anyone know a way to change the "Right Attachment" of text leaders from Bottom to Top as the default? It gets really annoying having to change this everytime I want a right leader...surely they made a way to do this...I have yet to come across it..

Add text, then change leader position with the button ON THE RIBBON, then it will default.

That only works for the current session, drop out of revit go back in + what happens. It's a gripe I have with a whole host of what I call user preferences that you can't really set + forget. Possibly a few lines in the ini file could sort that out??
