I am trying to define a room on the second floor, and it is grabbing a wall on the first floor as the boundary. So my second floor room ends up being cut in half into two rooms. The first floor wall is going up and attaching to the underside of the second floor slab. I've double checked the room boundary so that it is set to the second floor level, I've even tried raising it above the second floor level to see if it will "let go" of the wall on the first floor. Does anyone know why this is happening or what I can do to fix it?

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

Change your room levels to be -(floor thickness) from Level (above)

One would think Revit would recognize that there is a floor between rooms/levels....but this is not always the case..

Edit....change the walls...not the room....(beer is affecting me already)
