I have a project that is using NAD83 Maryland State Plane Zone, US Foot coordinate system. I just recieved some data that is another coordinate system "NAD_1983_StatePlane_Maryland_FIPS_1900" which is in meters. I am trying to connect through the Task Pane. I go through all the steps and then I get to the screen that shows you the coordinates that the files are in now and it states that the coord system is "NAD83 Maryland State Plane Zone, Meter".

So I choose to edit the coord system and select all of the files and choose "NAD83 Maryland State Plane Zone, US Foot". But once I add them to my drawing they are imported in the wrong place. I am not sure what else to do.

Somebody please help!!!!

I should say Murph can you help!!

As long as your dwg has a coordinate system assigned to it then just import. The current versions of MAP3D will transforme the geomety for you. Do not try to edit the CS of the file you are importing.
