Is this possible?

Say, in the family editor, I have two reference planes. I want to draw one shape on each to loft between.

I would like to draw the shape on one, and copy it to the other reference plane - can this be done??

Cheers.

unless i'm missing something, the obvious answer here would be the "copy" tool.

Don't mean to sound like a smart *** about it... if i'm missing something, please do explain, maybe even post a pic?

If you are using the same shape, a simple extrusion will do.
A loft will actually be using a single profile so i'm assuming that you are talking about a swept blend.
If you are looking to simply copy the line from from one plane to the other and modify the geometry then you need to use the Clipboard-Copy tool.

With Ref Planes you need to name them - then when you cut and paste you should have a choice of the ref plane to paste them too (or you need to 'set" the workplane to your named ref plane)
