Is it possible to get revit to generate schedules as lists rather than tables, i.e. with the headings of information running down the page instead of along it?

Rotate the schedule on the page...?

You can export the schedule to txt, open in Excel and transpose columns and row by Copy to Clipboard > Paste Special > check "Transpose Values". Then, copy the values from the Excel sheet and paste them into a Legend, then place the Legeind in a Sheet.
No parametric properties, but it is a workaround.
