View Full Version : Sweep end grips don't display exactly on sweep ends

I'm having an issue which I suspect is related to my graphics card. When in a 3D view looking at a building with roof fascia and gutter sweeps, when I click on the sweep the blue grips are not exactly on the sweep end points. As I zoom in, the grips seem to shift closer and farther away from the actual point where they should be. It looks like the grips "jump" back and forth as I zoom in or out.

I've also noticed that when picking edges for sweeps or even just selecting the sweep itself, I have to click slightly away from the desired edge to make that edge highlight, or to make the sweep itself highlight.

Graphics issue perhaps? Machine is a Core i7 8700, 12 GB DDR3-1333, with an ATI Radeon HD 1GB card driving a 1920x1200 Dell Ultrasharp (primary display for Revit) via DisplayPort, and a 1920x1080 Dell display (not Ultrasharp) via DVI.

*edit* hardware acceleration and antialiasing are both turned on. I have not been impressed with the antialiasing of this graphics card in Revit.

Core i7.

wow patricks- that's some barn-burner of a computer
you got there.. very nice..

everytime there's an artifact on the screen most
people think it must be the graphics card- but
it's not..

most people don't know that ones and zeros
"leak" out of memory and get missplaced on
your system hard drive after a time..

for me- after 30 days of downloading
everything under the sun and opening and
closing 200 sessions of revit- it's time for
me to pick out the stuff i want to save and
put it on a strorage drive and leave all the
garbage behind and zero-fill my system
drive.. windows 7 installs so easy i can do
that in my sleep.. and with Revit- i only install
the program because all my Revit files and
content are on the storage drive..

the result for me is- no artifacts- lots of speed-
and never a problem with any software.. 8)
