Lost Revit link

The structural model was deleted but the link was not removed. Is there a way to bring it back in retaining the visibility settings? Thanks.

I guess you'd have 2 options. You could try to find a back up with the model still linked and create a new central file from the local. Or, you could try the re-load link from. I'm not sure if that will work or not. Just a guess. I don't know of any sure file way that will result in no data loss.

David is right, the reload from will preserve your Visibility settings.

Reload from does not do it. Right clicking on the link in the project browser and selecting Create Instance brings the modes back, but not the visibility.
