We're using Revit 2011 - exporting to FBX - importing/linking to Max Design 2011 with all updates. Max will render the image perfectly on its own. When we use Backburner, we receive the error "JPEG - invalid image header" and it will stop the rendering. We've searched other threads with similar problems, but no resolve - the Max guys point the finger at invalid JPEGs for the materials and suggest to open every image in Photoshop to find the culprit. We did this, and it is not the issue.

The Revit guys tend to think that there's a permission issue somewhere, which I am thinking is the problem - I just don't know where....

We have found that there is a temp folder that is created on the local computer somewhere in the FBX creation process, which causes some angst at the beginning. We have worked around this by either making that folder shared to all users, or coping and re-mapping those jpegs, pngs, etc. to a shared location. After this hurdle, we still have the invalid image header issue.

We're saving the rendering to a centrally located folder, and our Revit materials are all setup on the server as well. Where are we going wrong???
