how do you load or where do you create a new tick mark for dims.

the selection I see in the pull doesn't list what I need but don't know where you add the one needed

I search high and low for this since Revit 4.1. This part cannot be customized.

Manage>Additional Settings>Arrowheads

You can't create a totally custom symbol, but you can probably create what you're looking for.
