I have ACAD Mechanical Desktop 2010 and I can not seem to be able to set my dimstyles. I want to change the overall dimension features scale and precision. I can go into the DIMSTYLE dialogue box and modify the settings, I set the new style as the current style. But when I add in the next dimension, the style goes back to the original.

I can go into object properties and change the settings but that only seems to work for each individual dimension I pick.

Any suggestions?

ACM has two dimension tools, the standard AutoCAD one and the ACM one. Are you using ampowerdim by any chance?
