View specific "lock" of elements

I would like to be able to lock for instance all the walls, doors and windows in this view but still beb able to modify them in an other.

I'm currently working on an electric sheme.
So i copied an existing plan and started to place the electrical symbols.
My fear is now to accidently move a element (door, wall, ... )while working in this electrical plan

I know you can lock elements but then they are locked in every view, right?

You may want to look at 'Worksets' for this purpose

If you haven;'t got editable rights to the 'walls' workset you will not be able to pick or move them
then you can only have editable rights to your electrical workset

I have requested a similar function to this several times to no avail, i often detail over the top of views and I suppose I should set the view to underlay mode but as you can still alter the model when it is underlay mode there doesnt seem any point?? would be much better if it locked it too when in underlay mode - if you could set which objects were affected too as you suggest it would be excellent ..... continue walking on egg shells I am afraid, but put in a request for this function or something similar, they may do it one day hopefully :?
