How to schedule layer thickness ?

Is there a way to report the thickness value of each layer in walls / roofs / floors ?

We need this info to automate the process of calculating in energy analysis.

I don't believe there is a default material thickness parameter for the material layers but you could manually create them. For example, for a wall, you could manually create parameters for the material thicknesses and then manually fill them in and then schedule them.

You could try using a Material takeoff and use a Calculated Value to divide the Volume by the Area.

besides this workaround, i guess only option left will be API
