Templates

A while ago I made an attempt to learn AutoCAD Structural Detailing. I was most frustrated with trying to create a custom template. I work in imperial units and most of the tutorials I found were in Metric. I have a copy of gsg_asd_steel.pdf unfortunately it doesn't really explain how to create your own template. Can someone please advise me where I should look for something that explains this?

There is an AU Virtual Class on this, but it's all in metric. It deals directly with template setup however.

It was an AU 2010 Virtual Class.

As for the frustration, ASD is not very well documented so sometimes you really need to just push through and set things and push buttons to see what they do.

Just make sure you document your results.

Thanks AJS. I'll look for the class. I know what you mean about just trying stuff. That was my attempt but everything I tried didn't work. I need some help understanding how they work. Hopefully the class will do that.
