I'm transferring all of our AutoCad Standards to Revit and I've been working on the Keynote List these past few days. I keep getting an error message saying I have Duplicate Key Value "text". I've sorted this keynote text file in Excel so many times and I can't find any duplicates. I have some Parent Notes that are similar to the dependant notes but nothing exact. It's an ignorable error but very irritating.
I've attached the txt file and a screen shot of the error message. help.

This also started with mine, when i started having Breaks between the grouping
try removing them & see what happens?

Yes, it's the breaks between the groups. Also, you might need to limit the end of the text to a single hard return.

Keynote Manager by emc2 Architects (http://www.emc2architects.com/revit_tools.html) is an excellent tool for keynotes. I highly recommend this over using Excel.

I second the recommendation.

kmarquis,
Your txt file was full or white spaces in the end. That was the cause for the error.
Here is a fresh keynote file of masterformat 2011 for those who use it.
Just add your custom keys as needed.
Had to zip it because of its size.
