Import CAD loss of accuracy

Hello,
I just linked a cad survey of my site into my revit model, and the linked cad does not resemble the original. the majority of the lines are skewed and do not appear accurate. Has anybody else experienced this? how do i fix the problem?

Turn all the layers on in cad and zoom extents. Is there any rogue geometry miles from the origin? delete it.

There was an origin point 6 million feet away from the model. I erased it, purged All, relinked, and it came in accurately, thanks for the suggestion
