I am building a super family that contains a parametric polar array of families.
Has anyone successfully used a polar array that is parametric for both the angle and the count, constrained on one side of the angle, and always expands in one direction?
If so can you post an example family that does this?

Wow! no response to this thread, but several to others recently... I take it no one has done this successfully. I can understand that, I cannot get Revit to constrain a polar array and keep it parametric. This can be extremely useful in some situations, for example, where a customer asks for a curved teller line in all their projects and the structure will always be the same, the attachment is an example of this. I have already made a fully parametric single teller station.

Has anyone ever made a parametric polar array?

Looking at the bottom of your thread you might have found similar threads that would have led you to here http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=64018. Which will give you a link to what your looking for in another thread. Searching might have resulted in ending up in the same place.

The jist of it is... doing it with a nested family and not directly trying to control the geometry within the top level family.

Thank you for responding to my post. Nothing in the referenced thread, nor the linked thread, nor the tutorial pdf mention a _polar_ array.
Yes, I have searched the forums; I posted the question because I have not found the answer here as of yet.
